This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you. It covers orikin.ai only. Data handled by the ORIKIN agent on behalf of a customer is governed separately — see Trust.

Two things reach us. If you complete the contact form, you send us your name, company, work email address and your message. If you only read the site, we record an anonymous measurement of the visit.
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It carries no advertising or third-party trackers. Nothing collected here is sold, rented or shared for marketing.
The contact form asks for your name, company, work email address, and optionally the details of your enquiry, together with the industry, markets and channels you select.
On submission this information is sent to us by email so that a member of our team can reply. It is not written to a database and it is not retained on this website’s server. It exists thereafter in our mailbox, and its retention is governed by that mailbox.
We use it for one purpose: to respond to you and to continue that conversation. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.
We measure how the site is used so that we can improve it. The measurement records the page visited, the referring site, approximate device class, browser and operating system family, viewport size, time spent on the page while it is in the foreground, scroll depth, which sections came into view, interactions with links and controls, and a coarse map of where the pointer or finger moved, rested and tapped.
That last one is a count, not a recording. Your browser divides the page into a coarse grid, adds up how long the pointer spent in each cell, and sends only those totals when you leave. No path, no order and no timing ever leaves the page, so there is no cursor track to replay and nothing within it that points to you. It exists for one reason: to show which parts of a page people actually read, and which they never reach.
This is done without cookies and without writing anything to your device. To distinguish one visit from another we combine your IP address and browser identification string with a secret value that is regenerated every day, and retain only the resulting hash. The IP address and identification string themselves are never written to disk. Because the secret changes daily, the hash cannot be used to recognise you on a later day, and it cannot be reversed to recover the original inputs.
This is also the reason the site does not ask for consent to measurement, and why you have not been shown a cookie banner: consent under the ePrivacy Directive is required for storing or accessing information on your device, and this site does neither.
The “Call ORIKIN” button places a voice call from your browser. Your microphone is captured only after you tap the button and grant permission, and only for the duration of the call. If you deny the permission, nothing is captured and nothing is sent.
During a call, your voice is transmitted in real time by LiveKit, our communications provider, and processed by xAI, whose model holds the conversation — both acting on our instructions to provide the call and for no other purpose. We do not record audio of these calls. We do keep a text transcript of what was said — these conversations are how we learn what visitors need and make ORIKIN better. Transcripts are stored on our own infrastructure under a random call id, are not linked to who you are unless you say so in the conversation, and are deleted within 90 days. Alongside that, the same measurement described above applies: that a call happened, how long it lasted, and anonymous timing of the steps in between. Calls are capped at five minutes.
The contact endpoint keeps a short operational log to detect and limit automated abuse. Each entry records the outcome of an attempt and a salted hash of the originating address. It records no message content and no contact details. The log is size-limited and rotates.
Enquiries remain in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, and are deleted on request. Measurement records are aggregated and retained for up to thirteen months, then removed. Operational logs rotate and are not retained long-term.
Enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser and measurement is disabled before any request is sent. No feature of the site depends on it, and nothing behaves differently as a result.
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because the only record of an enquiry is an email, we can usually action a deletion request the same day and will confirm when it is complete. Measurement data contains no identifier that can be traced to you, so it cannot be retrieved or deleted individually.
We do not share personal data with third parties except where it is necessary to operate the site — our hosting and email providers, and — when you place a browser call — our real-time communications provider (LiveKit) and voice-AI provider (xAI), all acting on our instructions — or where we are required to do so by law. There are no advertising or analytics vendors in this pipeline; measurement is collected and stored on our own infrastructure.
If our practices change, this notice changes with them and the effective date above is updated. Should we ever introduce a third-party tool that stores information on your device, we would ask for your consent before it loads, and would say so here.
